The AI Coach platform uses AI to analyze teacher input and provide personalized suggestions. It’s not scripted or rule-based—each teacher’s experience adapts to their goals and reflections.

It learns about each teacher’s professional priorities and provides relevant guidance, empowering teachers to coach themselves. The virtual coach isn't telling a teacher what to do, instead, it's acting as a thought partner for the teacher to explore their teaching.

For instance, if a teacher focuses on "checks for understanding" (CFUs), they will receive customized observation tips related to CFUs while analyzing their teaching videos. Additionally, teachers will get curated resources to support their growth in this specific area.

The coaching cycle is a mix of online and offline work that takes about two hours. Teachers work in the classroom and with the virtual coach throughout the cycle. 

Each part is completed at the teacher's own pace. Teachers can earn two contact hours per coaching cycle.

As a best practice and to establish a consistent routine, we recommend that teachers complete a coaching cycle once per quarter.

At minimum, engaging with AI Coach once in the fall and once in the spring can still yield positive results. Many districts ask teachers to work with AI Coach between in-person coaching sessions, this ensures continued momentum and allows for deeper in-person reflection.

AI Coach was designed with privacy in mind. Teachers' videos, reflections, and logs are private by default and are never visible to school or district leaders unless the teacher chooses to share them.

The platform does not collect or store student information and is fully compliant with FERPA and other student data privacy standards. All data is encrypted and stored securely, following industry best practices for cloud-based platforms.
